I’m pSqueez. I edit porn. Thank you for watching my entry to the World PMV Games 2025! I chose the 2018 theme - Choose One Studio. The studio I chose to feature is JaysPOV. The main song is Bygones by Oliver, but there are also a couple of surprise snippets from other songs and some sound effects thrown in here and there. As with most of the music I use for my PMVs, this track is a pSqueez Exclusive and Extensive Re-Edit of the original. Sometimes I like rearranging the songs as much if not more than the videos, but I very much love making PMVs. This is my first time entering the WPMV Games. I’ve been making PMVs for just over 10 years now. I am completely self-taught. I currently edit with Final Cut Pro. I would like to let my followers know at this point that I very much appreciate their support and all of the nice comments they leave on my PMVs. It makes me so happy that people have responded so positively to my PMVs over the years, and this motivates me to continue making PMVs and innovating my style. YUP. It can get that way. I still love it, but a lot of it is pretty disposable. PMVs can be the remedy.
If you go and watch some of the source scenes I use, there are some where you would be "why on earth did he use this scene?? It sucks!!" I didn't. I used 11 seconds of that scene. But stretching and repurposing has made it work.

CORRECT. This is why I love comments on PMVH, because they are coming from fans of the genre itself. Girl ID questions are usually taken care of because I always credit the performers at the end, but sometimes, like just now with the one directly above (which ended up being so hilariously timed right after your comment above it), it's not clear because it is a reverse cowgirl POV shot where the context on who it is can be hard to zero in on a 3 minute PMV that goes a million miles an hour. So, I am happy to answer. The quality of comments here are 3000% better than say Spankbang, and it makes the whole thing worth it--the positive feedback. I even like Girl ID questions because that gives a change to discuss the GIRLS, and I love all the girls I use in my PMVs. I only use girls that I fucking love.

Absolutely. These PMVs take HOURS.
2 years ago my stuff took like...10 hours to make start to finish?
Not anymore. I have no idea how many hours I spent on this JaysPOV trib, but it is NOT less than 100...and probably quite a bit more. It's not strange for me to edit for a 17 hour stretch. So I have NO IDEA how long this one took. I usually do a PMV in 3 to 4 days. I tinkered with this one WELL after I would have normally released it already for at least 10 days...
And here is why I have no idea...because I love doing it. It is a flow state. It is porn, which I like and have always liked, it is music, which I like and have always liked, and it is CREATING, which is the bedrock of all human endeavors leading to fulfillment.
When the editing goes well, it's a trace state, just like writing music or writing fiction, or playing video games, or MEDITATING, or TAKING DRUGS, etc. As humans, we seek the trance state, the state of flow, the meditation, the state of detachment and immersion, in many, many, many ways. This is currently my way.
Any PMV creator here that has a good/great/amazing result has PUT IN THE TIME, and the have put the time in because they love it.
They post it here so that YOU will love it, and tell them so. That's...pretty much the whole incentive. In a nutshell at least.

@pSqueez thats so much more detail and dedication than I ever hoped to find in porn videos.
But in the end that is what a really good PMV is all about, right? To take something and structure and shape it however you want and make something completely new with it that bears your signature, to try things out, experiment with every possible element (just as you described) and in the end create a unique piece of art.
And I am so thankful for you and everyone who makes these PMVs in their freetime because normal porn became so fucking boring and I cant even imagine how much time it takes to make a mediocre PMV thats good but doesnt go that much into detail, so I am sure it is a really big investment of time and effort every single time and in the end probably without getting much out of it apart from a few comments like "good job" or "whos the girl at ".
This is why I love the PMV Games so much, it feels like (from a outside perspective) it gives you creators a good reason to really go all in, compete against each other and in the end everyone profits because of so many good PMVs that you all made.

AMAZING pmv, really! I love everything about it. I read your description and also payed a fair amount attention to the music, its great! Also nice scenes, insanely good editing/effects etc etc. only thing that feels slightly off is the music sync, sometimes scene changes seem just a bit offbeat. but that doesnt fall into weight, its one of my absolute favorites this year!

Hey thanks so much for your kind words, I'm really glad you liked it. And thank you for your thoroughness on reading my description and paying attention to the music editing aspect!
As far as the sync goes, I often intentionally cut at odd times. Like instead of cutting on the 1 I will cut on the 2 or cut on the 4 and then extend the next clip 5 beats, etc. That way it is a little bit unpredictable, but believe me I carefully select how these cuts fall so that I get the effect I am looking for. THEN, when I do cut on the 1 for a couple of bars it really punches the emphasis on that section.
BUT if something is out of rhythm...like off time...man I hope that's not the case. That would be horrible...I try very hard to get things to land in time. But alas, there is a lot going on with this PMV, so maybe I have continually missed something.
tl;dr
You'll never see a stroke meter on one of my PMVs

It was nothing that troubled me, I just noticed bc most of the time high quality pmvs are "perfectly synced" (meaning having the cuts on the 1 etc). Dont worry, your PMV is so thought-through and perfected on every little detail, its surely not off-beat. Also I would never compare this piece of art to a strokemeter!

Thank YOU for getting back to me, and I am so glad that we're on the same page.
There is nothing wrong with cutting on the 1 every time as it can be very effective, but as my style evolved I just felt more variety was needed.
I am a big fan of rhythm and poly-rhythm and exploring rhythmic patterns and how physical movement responds to shifts in rhythmic structure and artistic balance as well as chaos and how the mind responds to visual stimuli in dancing, ice skating, acrobatics, sport athleticism, and in this niche, porn and the movements and rhythms found there. I try to incorporate all of that in my PMVs. It's fun.
And that's just for rhythm--color and shapes and bass and melody and texture and speed and distortion in music and image...that is an entirely different conversation
