Become a Moderator
Help keep PMVHaven safe, fair, and worth coming back to.
PMVHaven is run with a small volunteer moderation team, and as the community grows we periodically open applications for new moderators. Moderators review uploads, handle reports, and keep discussions civil. If you know the community, care about the rules, and can give a few hours a week, we want to hear from you.
What moderators do
Check new videos against the content rules before they go public.
Investigate user reports and take action on rule-breaking content.
Moderate comments and step in on harassment or spam.
Answer support tickets and help users resolve problems.
What we look for
- An established account. Accounts must be at least 90 days old to apply, and your history on the site speaks for you: good reports, sensible comments, no strikes.
- Consistent availability. A few hours a week is enough, but they need to be reliable.
- Level-headed judgment. Moderation means making calls on gray areas without drama, and asking the team when unsure.
- Discretion. Moderation involves sensitive reports and private information. What you see stays inside the team.
- A strong stomach. Some reported content is disturbing. You can step away whenever you need to, but you should know it is part of the job.
Moderation is volunteer work. You get full moderation tools, a moderator badge, and a say in how the site evolves, but it is not a paid position.
