What do you mean by βtaking moneyβ? No communication? The only effective way Iβve had to communicate since my Patreon was taken down is through the comments on PMVhaven. My Patreon was removed after a creator featured in one of my videos filed a DMCA complaint. As far as I know, PMVhaven doesnβt accept informative/update videos, so I explained the situation in the comments of the latest upload.
At least 60 members had their memberships interrupted. If I still had access to their emails or any contact information, I would have reached out to each person individually to explain everything. But once Patreon deleted my account, I lost access to all of that.
I do everything I can for the people who support me. Iβm still trying to figure out a way to identify who those members were and how to make things right for them. But donβt forget who was hit hardest by this situation. I do this for a living, and overnight I lost my source of income and now have to rebuild everything from scratch.

First, I saw a new channel so I thought that was weird and kind of jarring without any new tbh. Then I saw your comment that's why I left and replied with messages, either you missed or what it doesn't matter now. Secondly, I am sorry that's shit luck and Patreon i guess they don't care about fair use. Anyway that's spilled spilled over the bridge, if there is nothing you can do then it's fine all i was asking was information about the situation and solutions.
I'm sure I'm not only one of the sixty that didn't know what happen I would start there, in your new Patreon I would add a way to communicate what happened via email, telegram or discord. The important thing is if they find your new channel they would not feel perplexed about the situation and think of the worst things like I did or you can also put up information here as well. Please open a discord at least for business/member issues that is separated from Patreon.
Now, for solving your problem of making it right or identifying everyone. I'm sure you have email list of people that signed up then just ask each person to verify their email and to provide receipts or proof of purchase or 2. You can refund everyone from April i know it sucks or if it's even possible or you can refund prorate and I will gladly sign up again no problem (i support your work for a reason). 3. Also, through discord, telegram or email just ask member to provide proof of purchase and give them special one time discount to sign up again.
Tldr: Put up announcement PMVhaven, Patreon (not just in the comments but a proper announcement) about the situation so no further misunderstandings. Ask and develop path for members to provide proof of purchase via socials for April and offer "special" one time discount so they can just join again seamlessly.

hey sorry I just reread through your message and I see you have no clear way to communicate to all paid members and do not have any information about them and putting up an announcement is problematic and insufficient. Why don't you just offer a promo free trial/discounted trial for a month, It shows us the members good will and new random people that signs up might just stick around plus then it's easier to identify the former paid members once they signed up again.

@diego123912 What do you think if I open up a lot of spots on the 19 dol tier? 90% of the members were on the the 29 dol tier as the 19 dol tier only had 10 spots, this would save more money than if I'd refund the month of april to them, would that make it up? Also, I'll definitely create a discord

@TikThots Hey, I thought about this refunding is a nice gesture, but what members actually lost is the product suddenly and no explanation hence my initial reaction. So, it would not really help you or say the members because we did pay for April we just want April content/access. So once you established communication of what happened then move into your next course of action. The problem of just opening up spot is that we already paid for it unless you mean letting paid members in to just get their spot for last 9 days of April and maybe a little bit of May to make up. Or are you viewing your 19 dollar offer as limited spots for the paid member to save money in long run, in this case that could work but I would suggest to give a one time discount for that first month to get as much all your paid members to sign up again or a special gift like a exclusive video or something. The idea is that April already paid for we just want the access.
TLDR: Refund is easy but not beneficial for you and members. The offer of 19 dollars spot is a start just need something to make up for the lost days in April either through a special discount or exclusive video gift. Member can feel incetivized with proper communication of what happened and this kind of offer or something similar before you now it you'll be back making money making dudes squirm again lol.

Thanks, bro! A lot of people hate on the metronome, and on me, even though I spend extra time editing and rendering a version of every video without it. Polls on my Patreon show that 80% of members prefer metronome + music, while only 20% prefer music only.
I also upload previews without the metronome, and I even tried posting both versions, but the siteβs two-video feature doesnβt work properly.
At the end of the day, the people who support TikThot's prefer metronome + music, and I still make extra effort for those who want music only. What do I get back? Hate comments and even reports. If they donβt like it, why not just ignore it? I don't get it

Survivorship bias: people that are already in your patreon are ok with the metronome because that's what they signed up for. It's like going to a football game and asking people if they prefer it to basketball.

@poperon On my patreon all the videos have the metronome and no metronome version, I post some previews with metronome and some without, and on the polls it's still like 80% prefer with the metronome
nice clips but the metronome is not synced to the beat, not even the same bpm (172 for paper planes). if you want to do slow/medium/fast without changing the song then use multiples (eg. 172/2 = 86)
