Description

Their most successful song was "Lump", and their cover of "Video Killed the Radio Star" for the closing credits of "The Wedding Singer". But this rather unusual gem was their second highest charting song. And the lead singer said it was a mash-up of two different incidents he had. The first, where while high on LSD he was tripping under a peach tree with decaying fruit all around him on the ground. And the other was a homeless man he passed by repeating to himself constantly "I'm moving to the country, I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches". For my rendition, I decided to focus on Desiree Cousteau. She was from Georgia, and in some of her early loops was ofted credited as "Peaches", as well as her name in her first starring role in "Pretty Peaches". So as I often do, I simply present a more litteral version of "eating Peaches".
