@boobness sorry about that! there's a version without that vhs effect up now - and yeah i need to work on my file sizes ill do that from now on
@xajjerate thanks so much! and yeah youre so right, i didnt think about the bitrate when i made it, ill make sure all my new ones are compressed so theyre easier to load (although i love the style of the vhs, i wont upload my newer ones with it, ill keep them normal) :)

Fuck me, that's a fucking piece of art. Probably the most hypnotising pmv I've ever seen. Ever.
Excellent in every aspect. Never been a big fan of these kind of 'nostalgia' filters BUT somehow it makes perfect sense here and it's a great aesthetic choice. I actually prefer this one to the 'clean' version you've uploaded later.

WTF is this a 2Gb download, for 3 mins? It looks like it was filmed on a potato with the wrong aspect ratio settings...

@boobness You are very clearly uninformed. The 'potato' quality is the VHS and noise grain, effects commonly found in original VHS recordings or older films. Despite this, the source material is still pretty high quality; it's not 'potato' quality, it's just video effects. They tend to contribute to very large file sizes though as our day-to-day codecs aren't well suited to encoding unpredictable effects like noise.
Besides that very obvious style choice, the aspect ratio is another style choice.

Anyways, great work, love this edit. Might want to look into lowering the bitrate though, 2.27 GiB is pretty large, it's hard to load.
