Description

This montage is a tribute to the bygone era of early video sharing on the internet. The popular Peer2Peer networks and the advent of video compression formats. Those early files, short and compressed, that we all watched over and over because we didn't have the abundance we do today. For those born before 1990, I have no doubt you will recognize many names and faces. These were your first thrills, your first 'digital crushes'. I hope it warms your heart to see them again and that you experience what we call 'A Blast from the Past'. I didn't fill these nearly 7 minutes with only classics. That was impossible and would have been kinda boring, so I also tried to include some famous names from that era. All the productions are from before 2002-2003 because I consider we entered a different era after the fall of Kazaa/Emule, etc. That's my opinion and I had to set a limit. Nevertheless, even so, and after all my research, I might have missed someone, and I invite you to let me know in the comments.
