@StupidIdiot thanks for the reply. sorry but i have one more question. can you give me any tips for splitscreen? i'm trying to wrap my head around how to do it without having to manually adjust every clip. I tried copy + pasting clip attributes and it wasn't copying the x and y correctly.
@OnlyEdits If you find an answer to this let me know. I manually adjust every clip, you can get pretty fast at it, and having everything there in the timeline instead of nested makes it easier to apply effects and make changes. But yes, it's pretty annoying at times.

Yo nice video, what are you using to make your hit effects? Also do you only edit in 60 fps? for higher bpm songs it seems hard to match the hits to the beat every time.
@OnlyEdits Hey thanks! For the hit effects I automate an adjustment layer with resolve's 'camera shake' effect. I have some variations for different intensities. I edit in 25 fps actually, but maybe should switch to 60. To time hits I find cutting slightly before the beat feels smoother.
